Tom Mix – CEO
Tom has served as President and CEO of RLI since 2014, guiding the company’s strategic direction and growth. With a strong background in business leadership, he has overseen operations across all deployments, ensuring consistent performance and results. Tom holds a degree in International Trade and Business from Niels Brock’s Handelsakademi in Copenhagen.
Dan Poirier – COO
Dan joined RLI in 2014 and has played a key role in numerous deployments, serving in leadership positions including Incident Commander. He brings more than 25 years of prior experience in process engineering, research and development, and the sales of industrial processing equipment. Dan holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Ryan Broughton – VP Business Development
Ryan Broughton, CEM®, CBCP, is the Vice President of Business Development at Recovery Logistics. He brings more than 35 years of experience in emergency management and emergency services, having held senior leadership roles with the City and County of Denver, the City of San Jose, the Department of the Army, the Navy Installations Command, and the U.S. Fleet Forces Command. A former U.S. Naval Officer and veteran of multiple overseas campaigns, Ryan also has frontline experience as a firefighter, EMT, and rescue technician. He continues to volunteer in his community and resides in Denver, Colorado, with his wife, Rachel.
Angie Beadles – Controller
Angie joined the RLI team in 2017 and has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and operational finance. Prior to joining RLI, Angie served as Vice President of Business Administration in the telecommunications industry. She supports deployments as the Finance and Administration Chief. Angie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics from Bridgewater College.
Roger Scott – VP Operations
Roger has been with RLI and its sister company since 2001, serving in leadership roles across dozens of major deployments. He is a licensed General Contractor and Electrical Contractor qualifier, a certified COMTRAIN Tower Safety and Rescue trainer, and holds multiple industry certifications. Roger studied Business Administration at West Virginia University and Strayer University.
Brian Hinkle – VP Logistics
Brian has served as Vice President of Logistics at RLI since 2018. A U.S. Army veteran, he served as a Combat Engineer Officer during Desert Storm, gaining extensive experience in deployments and the construction of logistics bases under demanding conditions. Brian is a professional engineer and graduate of North Carolina State University, with more than 27 years of expertise spanning engineering, business development, sales, product development, and management.
